Koutsounari Traditional Cottages
These 200 years old Cretan stone built cottages were restored in 1974 by Eleni Nakou, the innovative visionnaire of quality tourism in Crete. In 1980 Eleni Nakou, has handed the operation of Koutsounari Traditional Cottages to Emmanouel and Dora Mantalas. Since 1980, the Mantala`s family is doing its best to keep the promise: make you feel at home, the Cretan way.
Nakou Village was named after the late Eleni Nakou, in order to honour her and keep her spirit alive. There are 21 self catering studios and apartments, built in 1987 and renovated in 2007. Nakou Village offers modern facilities as Satelite TV, A/C and Wi-Fi.
